About Center Grove Lassie League
Center Grove Lassie League (CGLL) is a nonprofit, volunteer managed, girl's softball facility and organization created in 1974. The league was established to give girls in our community the opportunity to learn the sport, enjoy team activities, build friendships and develop confidence. Today the league continues to offer a top notch recreational league focused on learning the fundamentals of softball and having fun while competing.
CGLL is home to 10 lighted and fully fenced softball fields. Each field boasts a top notch soil master surface and spacious covered dugouts. Our facility has a batting cage, three shelters, two restroom facilities, and a full service concession stand.
To meet the operational expenses of the facility, the league hosts tournaments throughout the season. CGLL is the home field for travel/all-star teams developed out of the recreational program. Girls who wish to pursue a higher level of competition become the ambassadors of our park as they represent CGLL at home and in state and national competitions.
Travel Team Program
We welcome Travel teams to join Center Grove Lassie League and have use of our facility. Becoming a CGLL Travel team requires a signed yearly contract requiring you to play at our park to represent the league. While also agreeing to support the league with field duties. CGLL offers the opportunity for our Travel teams to fundraisers and payouts by working tournament facility management throughout the year. For more information contact our Tournament Director Tina Choinacky.
